FaithTREK Ministry Opportunities

Do you have a passion for kids and a desire to see them grow in their faith and freedom through Jesus Christ? If so, FaithTREK has a place for you! If you've been attending Destiny City Church for at least six months and have taken-or are in the process of taking-the Welcome to Destiny and Living Free classes, you can become a part of the FaithTREK team.

There are three ways to get plugged in:

  1. Feel free to talk to any of our children's minister team leaders for more information.
  2. Download and fill out an application form and background check and drop it off in the FaithTREK office (off the social hall downstairs, by the back door).
  3. Fill out a Connection Card (available in the Sunday morning bulletin) and drop it in the offering box.
We'll be in touch. We'll provide you with training, encouragement, and even a mentor, if you need one, to help you get started.

Are you able to serve two weeks out of every six on Sunday mornings? Available for several weeks in a row on Sunday evenings? Willing to make some phone calls or do some computer work at home? We won't lock you into anything or demand a whole lot of your time. All of our FaithTREK children's ministers are busy, involved people with families, jobs, and other obligations and activities. But when we all give a little of our time and pull together, we find that it all gets done-and we have fun doing it together! That's what being a faith community is all about!
